From 1st April 2011, it has become a legal requirement for dental practices in England to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Who are the CQC?
They are the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
They make sure that care provided i.e. hospitals, dentists, ambulances, care homes and services in people's own homes and elsewhere meets national standards of quality and safety.
The CQC carries out routine inspections and ongoing monitoring of the above. These are usually with notice but can be without in certain circumstances.
We have been registered with the CQC since 2011 and are CQC compliant.
We have a full C.Q.C. Report in the Practice that is available for anyone to read if they would like or thw report of our Surgery Inspection can be viewed by going to the C.Q.C. website.
